Taikoo Sugar Refinery and Tai Koo Dockyard constructed by The Butterfield & Swire Coin in late 19 century. Quarry Bay became the largest industrial area in Hong Kong. After reconstruction in 1978,  industrial area converted for private residential housing estates in Taikoo.
